It was such an honor to recognize Chief Bill Partridge for his incredible career of service and to welcome in Chief Daniel Phipps as he takes on this important role.
Chief Partridge’s nearly four decades of dedication to the City of Oxford — including 19 years as Chief — have left a lasting impact not only on the department, but on our entire region. His leadership, vision, and commitment to public safety have helped shape law enforcement in Calhoun County for years to come.
As one chapter closes, another begins. I want to congratulate Chief Daniel Phipps on his well-earned appointment. His experience, leadership, and commitment to service make him the right person to continue building on the strong foundation that has been established.
We are fortunate in Calhoun County to have men and women who are so dedicated to protecting and serving our communities.
